Community Economics
Peter Strong is experienced in:
In September 2021 Peter moved on from being the CEO of COSBOA, where he was Australia's main advocate for the small business community for over 11 years. (He figured 11 years is long enough in that type of job and it was time for someone new to have a go.)
Previously Peter has: started managed and closed his own businesses; employed people; dealt with the red tape and challenges of retail and hospitality; and has worked on micro and macro economic development activities with the Australian Government, the World Bank and the United Nations.
Peter values community and communications; understands business and knows how to manage politics at all levels. He also likes to enjoy what he is doing and believes that life is too short to be constantly stressed.
Peter knows how to create and manage change.
He also likes the idea of chance management - spotting opportunities and converting them.

We are on ngunnawal and ngambri land. They have been here for at least 20,000 years. They have had tens of thousands of leaders in that time. They survived until Europeans turned up and still survive in spite of everything. Europeans and other ethnic groups have been here for a few hundred years. Always worth acknowledging.
