The Democracy Stakes

We are on ngunnawal and ngambri land. They and other first nations have been here for at least 20,000 years. They have had tens of thousands of leaders in that time and ran initiation (training) for young folk and had their specilaists dealing with specific issues. They survived until Maccassans and Europeans turned up and still survive in spite of everything. Europeans and other ethnic groups have been here for a few hundred years. Always worth acknowledging.
